We’re a week away from the Election here in the U.S., after a short 22 month campaign. And with all the excitement in the air about having a new President, I thought you might enjoy a 1-day sale: have fun, save money, and learn something to help your business.
Two years ago, I held the first Election Day Blowout, and it was a win-win for all involved. This was a mid-term election, so there wasn’t as much to argue about. But some of my earliest customers picked up a package of training from me and a few of my mastermind partners. This was just my second product launch ever, and the profits helped me take Joanna back to Poland for the first time since she had come to the US about 7 years earlier.
So now it’s time for Election Day Blowout 2.
The trouble is I don’t know what you want me to include that would help you the most, so can you give me your thoughts?
What are you missing? What of my products or services have you always wanted to get but either never got around to it, or your budget didn’t allow for it at the time?
Would you rather see a combination pack of products of mine, such as say Squidoo Secrets, Discover Social Networking, and Unstoppable Blogging at a big discount?
Or perhaps Teleseminar Formula at 50% off?
I’ve also thought about doing another live virtual workshop in November, but haven’t determined the topic yet. Or I could hold a series of teleseminars with experts for you.
In the pipeline, I have 5 products “in the works” that I could offer early, beta access to at a discount. These include “Create Your Own Affiliate Program”, “Discover Ning”, “Live Event Secrets”, and “Discover Masterminds”.
Or I have training sessions that were exclusive to my Gold Inner Circle that I could share with you. These include copywriting with Donna Fox, linking and SEO strategies with Lynne Lee, and “Discover Article Marketing” among others.
And I’m always open to suggestions different from what I’ve thought about.

As I see it, someone will be elected next week and the other one will not. Maybe the other one could have done more, positioned facts and policies differently or just known how to use Ning to bring more power to the election campaign with social Ning networking and marketing.

The situation that could be a win for us and yourself is to see some of the products from inside the Gold Inner Circle. Creates a possible look at more depth of that membership as well as added materials for your marketing efforts . However, I could also understand how some of the current paying members may say ” hey, wait a minute ” so, that’s a thing to consider. Would be interested in the Article Marketing and Copywriting defintitely. Prices dependent, of course.
As a Londoner, I’m watching your election with fascination. If I had a vote it would be for Obama. He is the most charismatic since JFK. What a shocking legacy Bush is leaving behind. In this country, we have been through Socialism of various sorts but in it’s present form, it is far more workable now than ever before and I think Obama understands that.
Right now, I’m getting my teeth into FreeMind – it’s the greatest Planning tool I’ve ever come across and I’ve been around longer than most! However,
Bob, as an Advanced FreeMind Member (don’t feel quite so Advanced as that suggests),I have watched the videos several times and I’m still getting stuck.
What I would like to see is an FAQ transcript covering the nuts and bolts which make it work. For instance, your ‘Keyboard Shortcuts’ has 2 lines of text in the ‘Start Bubble’. How did you do that without a carriage return?

Your trainings that I have done so far are great but with almost no resources, most of them have been your “free” products. When I start making some dollars with affiliate marketing (including your stuff), I’d like to have your traffic strategies and affiliate strategies to get better with affiliate marketing. I don’t have my own products.

Hi Bob,
as a citizen of the Netherlands I am not able to vote. I’m watching your election with fascination. There ia someone who I would have given my vote but is no candidate anymore. Why? Because of the knowledge and because of having ideas that are teachable. Ideas that can be copied one on one. Like a good teacher that educates his students in a way these students follow the exacts steps so they almost exceed the teacher.
Enough of that, lets talk about your proposals. In fact you might offer something without fluff, without ideas that are allready on the market, without tha chance that the student falls out or find it to hard or difficult. I choose for a live video where a group can follow exactly on there screen at home what you do and they must do the same (in another niche ofcourse) to achieve at the end of these broadcasts a complete product online.
This easier said then done, I understand.
But I think that it is the only way to help a beginner (newbies dont exsists)
and a more advanced marketeer. Why? Because most people struggle after reading a ebook with implementing on there own what they just read. So after this short story I will end with, keep the rest and take upon my idea and make the best of it! I still believe you and your team can achieve this!

Now, as for your little fire sel, I think that it would be awesome for us to know how t put on a live, and how to comand the price that the information is worth. My vote is for How to Create Your Own Affiliate Program. I know that we have talked about this and up until now I really have not had the time to put it into action. I really need to know more about it and get it going. I know that it would help my website sales. I really need help on that one, and Affiliate Marketing would probably do the trick.
I am totally unsure of what I am doing in that arena and creating Affiliate tools really blows me away!

Thanks for your nice offers to help us! I for one am completely lost and don’t know what to do with what I’ve already bought or downloaded and even if I did know what to do with it, I have a horrible probablem of procrasctination. So you see it is not just one thing that bogs me down but several.
An online live video where we can learn by seeing something done would be nice. But learning squidoo secrets, autoresponders, ning, twitter, how to develop a webpage, writing articles for profit, etc, etc.
I want everything but if I don’t do the basic stuff, then it doesn’t do me any good to get the rest of it.

Hi Bob, I agree with John. ( I understand what you mean John..) I would kill to see how I get something off my hard drive, where to put it, and then how to offer it to my subscribers/readers. How to actually GIVE something ( with the correct rights, of course) to someone else. A rebranded report/ebook etc. Or even something of mine that I want someone else to be able to download from me. Yes, how to offer it in an email, where do you put the squeeze page , but how do you make it downloadable. I do know what John means and I hope you know what I mean. It must be a simple concept, but I just can’t grasp it, can’t quite put it together. I have been unable to give subscribers many good and helpful things because I don’t know how, unless it’s a link to some other place that they can get the quality info that they want.

Bob, I’d like to see pictures, facial expressions. I want to see the emotional aspect of the election. To see hope for our future in the eyes of voters, no matter who they vote for. This election no matter who wins will be of historic magnitude and to capture some of that history from your point of view would be great.

This seems to be the simple technical things that I’m missing also. It would be a great resource I could refer to over and over again. The affiliate program would be nice too.

I’ll add this idea from a combination of posts that have been presented. What about a series of webinars over a few days where I walk you through on the screen how to create a report to giveaway, including formatting, header/footer, links, table of contents, etc.; get graphics made, set up a squeeze page, download page, and link the PDF to the website so people can download it.
So as you are thinking or adding your ideas, feel free to comment about that idea as well.

Thanks. Good idea; you’re always chock full of great ideas! I do remember our car ride from Orlando to near Columbia, SC (on the way back from Rich Schefren’s SPLive). ;-) And, birth of the DoxieDen.
I’d like for you to consider “something new.” Most of the others are covered (and done well), but I’m into the “bleeding” (leading) edge – an early adopter like you. Pave the path, don’t follow it. Except for social media, there’s not a lot that’s *truly* new since the early 1990’s. There’s more competition and more opportunities.

Hi Bob: I am up here in Canada so guess I won’t be voting, but I do keep close tabs on American politics. I find it easier to see things pertaining to your politics cause I don’t live there. I’ll keep it simple cause I could go on and on but definitely time for the Democrats to get in.
Well Bob, I think you do a good job at what you are doing, because you speak plainly and you do explain. So that is great! Half the battle of this internet business thing is finding someone who actually gives you real explained information so that you can understand what they are explaining. That just isn’t that easy to find. I am very much a newbie and as Nina (comment from Oct.28/08) stated the beginning is where I need the information from. Often so many websites, when you purchase a product, have described this all as so easy even a 13 child could do it. Then you get in there and it just is not that easy. You can’t put the instructions together. So as a newbie I need help from the beginning.

As far as the election, I voted for McCain but I will be supportive of whomever gets in. I think our government needs to have loyal Americans who get over their disappointment, don’t plot to ‘get even next time around’ and get on with making this an even greater country than it is.
