I’m heading to Seattle in about two hours to be the MC for Glen Hopkins’ Online Marketing Success Workshop. Bob (sorry I am a little long winded in my message)
I have only been trying to learn internet marketing for about five months. Somehow I stumbled onto wealthy affiliates about 6 weeks ago, which took me straight to Squidoo and then to you.
I think that like many newbies I have only used my computer in the past for work and e-mails, and some informational searches. I have been aware about blogs, forums and just recently about social forums.
Also, the technology of audio, video, skye, RSS and Web 2.0 are all new to me. I am a fast learner but I get the feeling that I am entering the Internet marketing world at a time of flux, and I have no idea of the extent or magnitude of these new technologies.
I have been trying to do just what I was told, to concentrate on one topic and to become an expert at that skill set and then move on to another. Unfortunately I have been spending too much time surfing the net trying to learn about these new technologies. (Maybe these are only new to me, but that is not the impression I get when reading all different kinds of materials).
I have been spending time on trying to understand what is happening and what do I need to do to prepare for the future.
(Drum roll)
So here is my question to you. If you were just starting out as a newcomer to Internet Marketing which would be the top, or top 5 ideas, you would use to make money in the current Internet environment?
