You have to build a list.

How many times have you heard that before? So I don’t need to convince you that having a list is essential to promoting a business online.

However, you may want to stop thinking of the importance of building a list for just a moment. When you think too much about building a list, you probably get wrapped up in the self-doubt that plagues so many people.

  • “I’ll never be able to get more than 1000 subscribers!”
  • “Why would anybody want to listen to what I have to say?”
  • “I don’t have anything to give away to get somebody to subscribe to my list”
  • “I don’t want people to think I’m spamming them.”
  • “I don’t even have a website yet, so how can I build a list?”

If you have thought any of these before - trust me, you are not alone!

Stop letting these thoughts paralyze you. Instead I want you to think of building a traffic net. This net serves as an automated communication system which will help you serve the needs of your subscribers and customers.

Create A Traffic Net To Serve Your Customers Needs

As visitors come to see your information online, they will want to know more (just trust me on this if you doubt it). And your automated communication system will give it to them. You won’t have to be waiting by the phone to answer their call, and you won’t have to play “telemarketer tag” returning their inquiries.

Don’t worry about building a list of 1000. Instead focus on giving that 1 person who stumbles across your website the answers he or she is looking for.

And instead of trying to give something away, like a free report, or MP3 audio, why not simply let somebody ask you a question? Or let them know you have 3 tips of expertise you’d like to share about a specific topic?

Then deliver what you have told them you’ll provide.

You Already Use Autoresponders Everyday

Now technically, you need an autoresponder system to run this. You should already know what an autoresponder is by now - even if you don’t have one of your own. That’s because you see them all over the place, and you are likely subscribed to somebody else’s autoresponder already (or hundreds).

They go by other names, too - like Drip campaigns, auto contactors, customer relation managers (CRMs), etc.

But basically, you’ve certainly filled out your name and email address, perhaps other info, and received emails as a result.  That’s an autoresponder, and I want to teach you exactly how to put one into operation for your business.

Just think of what happens as a result of getting such a system in place for your business.

Any time, day or night, whether you are by your computer or slaving away at a soul-sucking day job, people around the world can stumble upon your traffic net, and begin receiving your information automatically.

They can open up and read your emails, take action on your recommendations, and become appreciative of the help you are providing them. Profits will increase more rapidly without you having to do more work - because you only have to write an autoresponder email once, and it will continue to work for you forever.

You’ll see what people are interested in, and you can into the business of truly building a relationship with your subscribers. Let them get to know you, and invite them to comment on your Facebook wall, Twitter feed, or on your blog. When you’re stumped for what product or service people want, you’ll be able to ask your list and have actionable answers within 48 hours.

You Can Create Your Own Traffic Net Quickly

Now creating your traffic net, or your automated communication system, doesn’t have to be difficult.

I’ll be teaching a live virtual workshop this weekend to show you exactly how it’s done.

Over the last 2 years, I’ve created over 100 different traffic nets. Collectively, they provide information to over 25,000 people without me having to be at my computer. I use the service at Aweber after testing out several other services. And I’ve come to know the system quite well.
