Aweber just announced the release of a new feature that I think you’re going to love.

You can send an automatic Twitter post to all your followers on Twitter with a link to the HTML version of your broadcast message.

You can get the full story from Aweber’s blog, but let me share a couple of thoughts about why this is so cool.

First, if you are on Twitter, you probably have followers who are not on your regular email list. This gives you a way to share your most recent recommendations, tips, resources, etc., in a friendly, permission based way.

Second, if you are smart, you’ll put some kind of text at the bottom of your email to encourage new readers to subscribe by pointing them to your website.

Third, you can turn this on and off if you want, but the default is to always post your broadcasts from that point forward.

And finally, as email deliverability gets tougher and tougher, this gives you one more way to make sure your message is getting through to your intended audience.

Now, I’m testing this out myself for the first time. And one thing I’m going to look for is an even bigger snowball effect.

You see, I have my Twitter posts automatically fed into Facebook and several Squidoo lenses. So if this works like it should, not only will my email broadcasts be shown to my Twitter followers, it will also show up to my Facebook friends and lens visitors, too.

Pretty cool, eh?

Another reason why Aweber rocks!

Bob Jenkins

p.s. Read Aweber’s blog for a clear explanation of how to activate the Twitter broadcast feature in your Aweber account. And if you STILL don’t have Aweber, this is yet another reason to get started with building your list.

Remember, I have a course on getting your list built from scratch, called Discover Autoresponders. And another that teaches you about Social Networking if you still don’t know what the heck Twitter is or how it will help your business.
