Okay, so there’s nothing officially on the calendar called Affiliate Appreciation Month. But I’ve been known to make up things before (I created the word zyg, for example. Definition: a non-gender specific pronoun to be used in place of he/she, (s)he, etc.).

This month marks my 3rd annniversary as an internet marketer. I consider my “anniversary” date the day I switched from trying network marketing for a few months, and I committed myself to information marketing instead. That change happened when I invested $1000 in the Butterfly Marketing home study course and software, from Mike Filsaime.

Within 15 months, I was able to quit my full time teaching job due to the success of implementing what I learned.

A major part in my growth was the role played by affiliates. The most powerful aspect of the Butterfly software and the course is the idea of getting your subscribers and customers to become instant affiliates. So as someone downloaded my first free report, or purchased my most recent course, they were able to refer others for commissions.

Now, 3 years later, I continue to rely on my affiliates for most of new members. I spend less than $50 in advertising (a test Adwords account), in fact.

So to thank you as a loyal community member and affiliate, I’ve proclaimed February Affiliate Appreciation Month. And what it means for you is this:

From February 1 – 28, 2009, when anyone you refer (or have ever referred) purchases ANY of my own online training programs or virtual workshops*, you receive 75% commission on the sale.
