Another question from the mailbag, this one from Gaetano:

“Why I cannot start anything? There is so much information I am receiving that I get confused and end up doing nothing… I want to have a lucrative internet business… What is my best bet?”

Thanks for your question – here’s my answer for you…

Confusion and “analysis paralysis” is a common issue for people at the starting gate.

First – be patient. It took me over 8 months to really get anything going, and another 10 months before I was able to replace my regular job income. It also took specific action and mentoring with experts so I could get help on a regular basis, especially when it came to staying focused.

And think about this. In the offline world, it typically takes up to 5 years before a business owner is able to turn a consistent profit.

As for where to start with your business, you need to consider what it is that you do well, and how can that be converted into an information product.

I call this the golden triad – mix your passions, your skills, and what the market wants in order to find the sweet spot of your potential success.

For help in this area, you may want to check out my course, My8StepsToProfit.com. You can get it for free as a bonus to FreeMikeFilsaime.com, or if you don’t want to take Mike up on that offer, the full course can be purchased. You can also get just session 1 if you want at DiscoverAffiliateStrategies.com to get your foundation set properly.

You may also want to read this other article I wrote, “Too Many Shiny Things,” which addressed another facet of this problem.

Good luck!
