Poland Travel Video #3: Debrzno, Szymbark and the Upside Down House
June 23rd, 2008 · Filed Under: Bob The Teacher Training · Business Building · Personal · Travel Videos
My third and final video is ready for you now.
Before you watch it though, a couple quick comments.
I used Windows Movie Maker to create this video, and as you’ll notice if you have seen all 3 videos now, my mad skills have improved from application. I made some mistakes in the first 2 and figured out how to correct them.
I hope you jump into technology and see what comes out of it. I’m pretty pleased with my results.
During the video I mention going on vacation with me in January. For the internet marketer’s cruise info click here.

p.s. I am heading back to Warsaw Tuesday, and flying out on Wednesday early. So I will be offline for the next two days. Have a great week!
p.p.s. If you missed it, my new site opened this morning: DiscoverSocialNetworking.com. Enjoy free and very cheap lessons on social networking!

Bob, I enjoyed your presentation very much.
Best of luck to you and Joanna.
Gee, I learned so much about Poland and I am surprised that the Poles don’t complain to us about what we did to them in the Potsdam agreement.

Thanks Bob,
Almost like being there. I had a Polish boss once. These videos helped validate all the things he told me about the country side and the culture.
Very nicely done.

Dear Bob:
I greatly enjoyed your videos!
Especially the music on your first one. Please tell us the name of the composer and the actual piece.
Of course I also enjoyed the other content and your delivery style. Can you say a few words about the camera you used and how you edited? The color is quite good and easy on the eyes.
All +++ ……not sure you will be able to retain the “genuinity” on the cruise video though….
I have more to say on the Social Web side but consider it to be off topic for this post so that’s all for now.

Hey Bob,
Great videos. I’m in Bookwise so that’s how I found you. My grandparents came over from Poland but I’ve never been there so the videos have been very interesting for me and I miss all the great Polish foods my grandmother would make when I was small. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Bob for your video. It is an interesting video and I enjoyed. I used to travel a couple of years back and took a lot of videos with a digital camera. I thought of putting it in my blog which I started a few months back but don’t know how to do it. I wonder if you could help me. I am using Windows XP (home). I am writing a blog on http://tctan-tc.blogspot.com in order to promote my above website (franchise owner).Would you mind taking a look and give me your comments. Thanks again. tctan

Thanks for your extremely interesting pics of modern day Poland. I know a bit about post-war Poland as I have a friend who lives in New York and survived the Warsaw ghetto in WW2. He was also a personal friend of the Polish Pope.

Thanks for the comments so far. I just got to Warsaw at Joanna’s brother’s house. So won’t be able to post again for a while.
The music in the first video is Philip Glass, from the Hours. That particular selection was the final track. Glass is my favorite composer, and most of his work from 1992 forward is excellent and very accessible. Before then is good, too, but not everyone feels the same.
@tctan, @HAL - I will do a quick post later next week about what I used for the video filming and editing.

Bob,
I enjoyed the video. I even experienced nausea looking at the upside down house.
You did a great job covering so much in such a short video.
Great way to promote your upcoming cruise, too.

Bob,
Great vids. That upside-down house was very odd indeed. Pierogis? Yum. Glad you had a safe trip… looking forward to our call today.
