We’re having a great time at the Wayside Inn Bed & Breakfast in Maryland, where we’re about to start Day Two of the IM Success Workshop.

Breakfast is almost ready, but before we enjoy some Grand Marnier French Toast and fruit, I thought you’d like to know how things are going.

The first day the lessons learned by each member of the workshop were…

  • the theoretical foundations of running an online business
  • the technical foundations for an online business
  • the product creation roadmap
  • how to market your products effectively.

We also had 2 hot seats where Larrie Davis and Mike Logan had the opportunity to have of their biggest challenges in their business solved by the rest of the group.

Besides myself, the participants learned from my friend and internet business building expert Glen Hopkins.

After Day One, I took them all to the Washington Nationals baseball game. Although the Nats lost to the Rockies, all of us won with the opportunity to get to know each other over hot dogs, pretzels and cracker jacks.

It was an exhausting first day - but the positive feedback pumps me up for another great day.

Today the topics include becoming the go-to expert, using social media effectively, how to set up automatic communication systems, and leveraging your products for maximum profit.

Joyce Jagger and Glenn Seymour are on the hot seat today (Lou Vozza gets in there tomorrow) to talk about their embroidery coaching and "riding on sunshine" businesses.

It’s going to be an exciting day - and Dave (one of my Innkeeping parents) has just put breakfast down.

If you’d like to keep up with what else happens you can watch my updates on Twitter.

With the feedback I’m getting from people here, I’m definitely encouraged to hold another workshop soon. I’d like to know from you if you’d like to see me offer another one and if so, what topics would you like to see taught that would help you grow your business.

Just leave a comment below to let me know your thoughts.

Time to eat!

Bob Jenkins
