How To Get Leads For Any Business With Internet Marketing

I had a great mastermind lunch with my local group organized by my local Wilmington realtor, Alex Paen.
He set the topic today as lead generation strategies and how to get referrals. Now everybody at that meeting is an offline business professional. Home security, financial planning, lawyer/legal, insurance, etc.
So to help them understand how they can use internet marketing for their lead generation, and reduce their costs of customer acquisition, I created a mindmap (you know how much I love mindmaps!).
To make it as easy to understand as I could, I focused the map on the “big picture” so they could see the overall system, and what pieces should be put into place over time. Figured you’d probably get a lot of use out of it as well.

This is a “big picture” map, and I thought you might enjoy seeing what an overall lead generation system should really look like. It should also show you how my various training courses help you learn the pieces you are missing.

It certainly helps to have spent my career on the brick and mortar side of this equation, where you live and die by your leads.
My company spent over 14K to get 78 leads at a medical trade show just 90 days ago. Granted, being in the medical business, you must get face to face with the medical doctors.
Your topic and mindmap certainly puts things in perspective and causes anyone who spends $179 per lead to stop and look at the internet and how it can play a role in lead generation, even for brick and mortar medical businesses.

Great mindmap! I downloaded the free version of Freemind from your link a while back and my first attempts at creating these mindmaps were horrendous.
Guess I need to go back to the drawing board and figure out how to really use Freemind rather than trying to just “wing-it”.
