Yesterday, Joanna and I had the chance to go into our soon-to-be new home for the first time. It’s a new construction house, so when we put the offer on it initially, it was just a shell with the frame — but no floors to speak of.
Now it’s 95% finished, with about 3 weeks until closing. I recorded a video for you to explore the house with us! You can watch it by clicking the video image at the bottom of this post… and see some pictures right here…
Also, as you know I encourage you to find a good mentor and training programs that can help you focus on the growth of your business. Over the last 16 months, I’ve been learning from the i5Gold coaching program, especially the wisdom of one of the four mentors, Paulie Sabol. This program is coming to an end in December. Over the last 6 months, I added Rich Schefren’s Business Growth Systems to the mix.
I tell you this simply to let you know that I practice what I preach, and that just like professional athletes, singers, and others who want to accelerate their growth, you should always have a coach.
Also, I wanted to let you know that just today I invested in my own education once again, purchasing the Product Launch Formula from Jeff Walker. This is probably the most recommended self-study coaching program out there, for those of us who enjoy the thrill of releasing a product and making that launch into an event.
I discovered after purchasing it that he included about 30 hours of unadvertised audio bonuses, transcripts, and other materials that I’m really jazzed about. I’m downloading them to my iPod tonight so I can start learning before the course gets here in the mail later in the week.
The course is not cheap, but I know the return on investment for this course will be high. I’ll be using what I learn from it to make sure the release of FreeAdReport 2 and later the second edition of Squidoo Secrets will be a lot of fun for everyone involved (including you).
If you’ve ever thought about releasing your own product, I recommend learning from Jeff. I’ve met him personally in February, and read through all of his very valuable case-study emails he sent from his free newsletter at the Product Launch Formula homepage (which you’ll find extremely educational!).
Thanks for enjoying the house building experience with me — I hope you’ll add your comments below. And if you have a product idea you want to launch in the future, check out Jeff’s free e-course on product launches.

Hi Bob, Your new house is very impressive! Good work…but we didn’t get to see it from the outside! Hope everything goes smoothly for you!
Cheers,
Stuart Stirling
Bob, it’s going to be a wonderful home for you and Joanna. May you both be blessed with good health, happiness, and success.
From one teacher to another,
Blessings,
Don Aronson
Hi Stuart — Thanks for stopping by! Sorry about the absence of an outside video. You can see the insides and outside in photos at my Picasa page.
Bob

I hope you and Joanna enjoy your new home.

How fun!! New homes can be a challenge, but what an adventure! DH and I have moved all over the country in our 36 yr of marriage, and each place has its own charm, challenges, and fond remembrances. Take tons of pictures, make lots of albums, have great memories – and you have video, too!! (One thing we didn’t until recently.) Enjoy!
Congrats, and God bless.
Hi Bob,
Thanks for the tour the house looks great. It is very interesting seeing homes in other countries, I like to see the materials that are used and also what the floor plans are like.
I get the feeling that you and Joanna are going to be very happy there.

Hi Bob,
I’m excited for you and Joanna!! It almost
feels like I’m buying the house. :)
You have been so very giving of yourself
in the sharing of information to help
others grow their online business.
It’s a joy to see the beginning of this wonderful
chapter in your life.
Thank you for sharing it with us.
Cheers,

Hello and what a wonderful new home! I especially like the FROG. Here in San Francisco we are fortunate to find a garage within a few blocks of our flat or apartment, for rent. And, if there is a room above it, finished or not, it will be rented and someone living there. Diversity.
The house looks great! Hope you and family will enjoy and be very happy!

Hi Bob,
Cool new house… :) Where is it located? Still in Maryland?
Bets regards,
Frank Bauer
The house is in Leland, North Carolina, about 5 minutes across the Cape Fear and Brunswick Rivers from Wilmington in the southeastern part of the state.
We are about an hour and change from Myrtle Beach. Right now, we are staying in what’s called Carolina Beach, one of the 3 main beaches closest to Wilmington.
Thanks for all the great comments — I look forward to showing you more video when we get the carpet in and the walls painted.
Bob
Good luck with the house…exciting times. I’d like to introduce you to an unusually lucrative income stream…check out my lens for some insight.
Hey Bob, Nice F.R.O.G :)
Enjoy your new home, well done on the awesome year to date and all the best for 2008 (thought I would get that one in early this year)..
Looking forward to seeing your name on the JV Comp results soon ;)

Nice house Bob, Sure beats a teachers salary.
It’s almost as big as my house :). As a teachers husband I can attest to your happiness in doing something less stressful and rewarding in much different ways.
Look forward to shaking your hand someday soon.

Beautiful, Bob! Love it!
Good for you!
I can see from your video that the
“fun part” is still ahead of you…
landscaping your fine yard!
I am glad that you have shared your video with us. Your house is way bigger than ours and about 30 years younger. I like the part where you mention “the pool”. I could with a kitchen, living room and a bedroom if I could swing getting a pool. To me it means – you have arrived.
Good Luck with the landscaping and great happiness in your new home!
His and her closets and his and her sinks…. they keys to a happy marriage. LOL
Congratulations Bob! On the move and the new house! You deserve it! :)
PS: I’d make the FROG your office. You’re going to need the room! ;-)
Hey Bob,
Great house! And they’re a lot bigger in America (what not…lol) then the houses in The Netherlands…wow! You can check out ours at: http://www.squidoo.com/woningtekoop/ …we’re actually selling it at the moment and getting something bigger too :) Although not as big as your house.
Anyway, thanks for sharing and good luck.
Robert

A very beautiful house bob. The place seems very quietly and beautiful with nature near by.
Good choise, i think we all wish one day to have a similiar house.
Hey that’s mighty fine looking place you have there. You’ll have to show us your office setup and where you work when it’s ready. I wish you two lots of happiness there.
Have a great day,

to see the house when it is finished.
Best wishes & many blessings to you and Joanna.
Awesome Bob! Congratulations to you guys. Hope you will let us see it after the finishing touches and this time slow down with that camera! LOL Just kidding, know you are very excited. Very happy for you.
Debbie
Wow , get me a new hummer , my new house…. get over yourself and take me off your list already!
second time i remove myself and I still get you talking about your house . etc. Here from MY house I probably paid less for 80,000 and is bigger than yours. And i don t make thousand a day from lists of people which I never remove.
By now
Ok well I left a nice RAW comment which was not submited because i said the truth. Like how i asked to be removed and how i wasn t and still get e mails bragging about ,.. get me a hummer, my new house , and how I paid 80,000 for my house and is way bigger and I dont make thousands a day.
well hope this one is allowed . But of course I don t expect you ,( BOB)to allow this post.
Your new home is quite lovely! May you and Joanna share many happy moments inside its pretty walls!
Sincerely,
Janet
Hi Bob,
I can see how excited you are with your new house.
I bet you and Joanna can’t wait to move in.
After you are settled in it, would you like to show
us some more pictures of the inside?
Show us how you set up your office.
Anyway, enjoy your new place and live happily
in it for years to come!
Hermann Hoerter
Well Bob,
Forgive me for being critical, but, you DID ask my opinion of your new house….so…here goes.
Basically, it’s nice. HOWEVER: You need BIGGER windows to allow more sunlight to come in.
You also need LARGER closets.
The kitchen could be much larger. I’m sure your wife would like more cabinet spaces. I’m sure she would like a LARGE pantry, as well.
Also: re: Windows, in those rooms with only one window..how about adding a few “skylights” to allow more sunlight in those rooms?
The back yard is STILL in need of doing.
I’ve a good suggestion: How about getting Tye
Pennington to come down and help remodel the house [along with "his people"] and feature it on his TV Show “Extreme Makeover/Home Edition?”
Would be a GOOD idea.
But this IS only my suggestion…
Oh, one more thing: Where’s the puppy dog?
Just wanted to thank you for the tour of your new house. I wish you and your family all the best.
Marsha
Another thanks for this current round of great comments. I really do appreciate them — they mean a lot to Joanna and I.
Serj — sorry you had trouble with the unsubscribe link. If you have signed up for more than one newsletter you need to unsubscribe from each one. And, I never want a hummer, so you got that part wrong.
Shirley — I am not a dog person, but we have two cats. If Joanna had her way, there would already be a dog for sure. :) As for your other comments, since we don’t intend to have kids, this is plenty of space for us. In fact, if it weren’t for the need for two home offices, it would be too big. But I do appreciate the suggestions.
Hermann — I’ll be sure to show my office, as I think it’s helpful to see how people organize their workspaces.
Bob
Bob,
Nice new house! Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait to see how you fix it up!
I’ve never lived in a brand new house before. Mine was built in 1900. However, I think the experience would be great to tell them where to put what and all that.
Yea, I’d like to see how you set up your office too.
Have a good one!

Bob,
Great house fellow FSU alumni. I see we are both alums of I5Gold and Rich’s course — what was your Kolbe score? I very much enjoyed your Squidoo Secrets course its helped me out tons!
I enjoyed our chat during your 7 Figure Launch and would really like to catch up soon.
Chris
Hi Bob and Joanna;
Thanks for sharing your excitement and pic’s
of your new home. It is beautiful and will be
more so as you continue with the finishing
touches.
I’m sure you will both be very happy there.
P.S. Don’t let the “sour grapes” people put
a damper on your excitement.
Warmest Regards;
Nina
