A shocking video reveals a few of the faculty members of the Niche Affiliate Marketing System workshop in Atlanta are also part of a world class dance crew.

Led by super affiliate turned dancing queen, Lynn Terry, the crew includes Nicole “Success On The Dance Floor” Dean, David “Can’t Touch This” Perdew, Scott “This is really how I got my six pack abs” Tousignant, and Bob The Teacher Dancer Jenkins.

An anonymous email confirmed the 5-member crew is practicing for auditions for “So You Think You Can Dance”, “America’s Got Talent”, and “America’s Top Dance Crew” (the fact that one of the members is actually Canadian has not been revealed to the judges of these shows).

But before they hit the small screen, they have big plans for NAMS 3. TMZ has obtained this video of the crew rehearsing in a barn in rural Tennessee. Warning: Viewer discretion IS advised!

After yesterday’s advanced steps of setting up an affiliate program, I’m ready to go back to a basic set of steps to optimize my list process. Today, I’ll be working on a customized confirmation page.

• Link to the new page from my web forms in Aweber
• Add an image of the download page to the confirmation page
• Add a video to the confirmation page

Editing video can require some big technical chops, but it can also be pretty simple if you’re okay with a more natural result. Once you have a good raw video, like what I created yesterday, you should be able to use the video as it is, or adjust with just a couple of quick fixes.

So today, I’m going to…

• Edit the beginning and end of the video
• Insert a call to action slide at the end of the video
• Publish the video for the web

My friend Lynn Terry over at ClickNewz nudged me to start playing around with Animoto, and I figured for my first video mashup should be photos from live events where I’ve met so many great people.

Okay, I’m getting ahead of myself… Our final day of driving to Vegas started out by hunting down a gas station in Uptown Albuquerque, and then on our way west.

The landscape in Albuquerque is pretty desolate overall, with small shrubs dotting the landscape amidst a few spindly trees. I had heard that the sky in New Mexico is really amazing, and that turned out to be true.

A few hours into the trip and we were in Arizona, which remarkably looked pretty much like New Mexico for about 30 minutes. Then it got even drier. You can see mountains in the distance, and eventually, you get pretty high up again as you get closer to Nevada.

I’m often asked the following question:

What video camera should I buy?

There a number of answers to this question, but I’ll stick to a couple of points of criteria that I used when I asked the same question.

• You want a camera to film short videos (under 10 minutes)
• You want a camera that is idiotproof
• You want good to great quality of video
• You want videos that are easy to upload to the internet
• You do not need to make DVD quality videos
• You do not need to make streaming (live) videos
• You want to spend less than $500

We’re about to head out of Oklahoma City this morning on Day 3 of the Road Trip to Vegas, where I’m teaching Butterfly Marketing strategies at a conference hosted by it’s creator, Mike Filsaime.

Yesterday was the longest drive (by design), and it was filled with some amazing scenery of a part of the country I’ve never been through.

Have to say driving takes longer, but it sure is a good way to see what’s out there.

We drove from Birmingham to OKC, which took us through Memphis, Tennessee; Tupelo, Mississippi (birthplace of… (put your guess in the comments); over the bridge of the Mississippi River into Arkansas, and eventually into Texas.

I’m off on a road trip to Vegas to teach at Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing conference. Should be a great event.

But I need to get there first.

I live in Leland, North Carolina, across the bridge from Wilmington, NC. So it’s quite a ways to drive. But nevertheless, my partner Joanna convinced me how cool it would be (plus she hates flying).

So earlier today we set out for our first stop – Birmingham, Alabama.

Along the way, I’ve been shooting video of what we’re seeing, which will be loaded up soon (I’m writing this from a hotel whose connection is not quite fast enough to upload vid clips).

Unfortunately, after the first hour or so, we hit rain. And then more rain, and then even more rain. Pretty much torrential madness. Evidently there was a wannabe tropical depression that came up from Florida that stalled out over the Southeast.
