PLR Ethics – Are Private Label Rights Plagiarism Or Legitimate?

Are you using Private Label Rights in your business?

These are articles, blog posts, autoresponders, reports, ebooks, even videos created by somebody else, but that you can use as if you were the author.

As a former high school teacher, I’ve always had a bit of a reservation about using PLR in my own business, because I’ve always thought that I needed to be the author of my own work.

But maybe I’ve been overlooking a great way to help more people by utilizing content created by somebody else who has given permission to reuse their work.

Got An Info Product But No Buyers?

Info-product sellers know that the hard work starts after you launch your product — whether it’s an eBook, a recording of your teleseminar, a membership site, or even a consulting package. The real work is in getting your sales message in front of your potential customers so they can buy.

There are many ways, as you know, of getting web traffic to your sales message.

Arranging joint ventures
This works great once you are “in” with other successful marketers, but it’s not like you can just log into people’s autoresponders and mail for them, so it can feel like an uphill battle at times to get people to send promotions for you.

Twitter & Social Media
This also works, but it involves constant daily effort and sometimes it feels just like you’re talking to yourself. Is anyone really listening?

Article marketing
Writing and submitting articles to the article directories still works, but there is so much competition that it’s hard to stand out. EzineArticles.com has, as of today, 212,234 other Authors competing with you for attention. OUCH.

Why not cut out the middle man and position yourself right in front of your potential customers – where they’re ALREADY hanging out?

[Autoresponder Challenge] Day 30: Evaluate Progress

It Takes Money To Make Money

I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase, “It takes money to make money”.

Are you finding that to be an obvious truth you’ve embraced and exploded your business?

Or a frustrating reality and challenge you can’t seem to get past?

When you market your business online, there are certain expenses that you should be expecting.

Things like

  • Hosting ($10/month)
  • Autoresponders ($20/month and up)
  • Graphics ($50- $300 per site)
  • Support assistance ($100- $200/week)
  • Transcription services ($90/teleseminar)
  • Mentoring & training ($100-$1000/month)

And all those are important, and should really be considered investments in your business more than expenses.

But if your cash flow gets squeezed and you’re not able to maintain much less expand, what can you do?

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and keep working in a soul-sucking day job a little bit longer than you’d like. And if you’re currently out of work, you may be taking on some odd jobs that you feel are beneath your skill set.

How To Get Leads For Any Business With Internet Marketing

I had a great mastermind lunch with my local group organized by my local Wilmington realtor, Alex Paen.

He set the topic today as lead generation strategies and how to get referrals. Now everybody at that meeting is an offline business professional. Home security, financial planning, lawyer/legal, insurance, etc.

So to help them understand how they can use internet marketing for their lead generation, and reduce their costs of customer acquisition, I created a mindmap (you know how much I love mindmaps!).

To make it as easy to understand as I could, I focused the map on the “big picture” so they could see the overall system, and what pieces should be put into place over time. Figured you’d probably get a lot of use out of it as well.
