[Mailbag] Internet Marketing Questions Answered On Bob The Teacher TV

Today on Bob The Teacher TV, I answer questions from the mailbag.

These questions involve online video, Twitter, warming up visitors before trying to sell them something, and duplicate content between blogs, Squidoo, etc.

Questions answered in this episode…

“How do I send a group of friends a new added video and message at the same time? Thank you!”- Michael Flume

“Bob, how can I get you to follow me on Twitter. I’m following you: http://twitter.com/terrywhalin I have written more than 60 books traditional publsihers.” - Terry Whalin

“How can I help people before I ask them to consider buying my offer?” - Susan Schaffer

“I run 4 different blogs and was wondering if I could simply use my blog posts as articles after I set up a squidoo lens? Or is going to be penalized as duplicate content. What I was planning on doing is taking all 4 blogs and creating a single lens to cover the 4 blogs and was also going to the same with a hubpage. Just wanted your thoughts on it. It would make it easy to for updating frequently.” - Scott Searles

[Teleseminar Formula] Your Fast Track To Success With Teleseminars

Of all the methods of conducting an internet business (getting customers, creating products, promoting affiliate products, understanding the needs of my clients, etc.), my favorite strategy is to use teleseminars.

Ironic isn’t it that my favorite method uses such an old school technology as the telephone?

The truth is there is no better way that I know of to grow your online business than using teleseminars. And I am so passionate about showing you how to use the power of your voice to propel your business forward that I have made it the subject of my next virtual workshop.

I held my first teleseminar in November of 2006, and since then I’ve hosted well over 100 calls - both free and premium. My sessions have been anywhere from 30 minutes to over 3 hours. I have made my share of mistakes as well as quite a bit of profit.

I’ve personally used teleseminars to:

Yesterday, Joanna and I had the chance to go into our soon-to-be new home for the first time. It’s a new construction house, so when we put the offer on it initially, it was just a shell with the frame — but no floors to speak of.

Now it’s 95% finished, with about 3 weeks until closing. I recorded a video for you to explore the house with us! You can watch it by clicking the video image at the bottom of this post… and see some pictures right here…

Also, as you know I encourage you to find a good mentor and training programs that can help you focus on the growth of your business. Over the last 16 months, I’ve been learning from the i5Gold coaching program, especially the wisdom of one of the four mentors, Paulie Sabol. This program is coming to an end in December. Over the last 6 months, I added Rich Schefren’s Business Growth Systems to the mix.

I tell you this simply to let you know that I practice what I preach, and that just like professional athletes, singers, and others who want to accelerate their growth, you should always have a coach.

Also, I wanted to let you know that just today I invested in my own education once again, purchasing the Product Launch Formula from Jeff Walker. This is probably the most recommended self-study coaching program out there, for those of us who enjoy the thrill of releasing a product and making that launch into an event.

I discovered after purchasing it that he included about 30 hours of unadvertised audio bonuses, transcripts, and other materials that I’m really jazzed about. I’m downloading them to my iPod tonight so I can start learning before the course gets here in the mail later in the week.

The course is not cheap, but I know the return on investment for this course will be high. I’ll be using what I learn from it to make sure the release of FreeAdReport 2 and later the second edition of Squidoo Secrets will be a lot of fun for everyone involved (including you).

If you’ve ever thought about releasing your own product, I recommend learning from Jeff. I’ve met him personally in February, and read through all of his very valuable case-study emails he sent from his free newsletter at the Product Launch Formula homepage (which you’ll find extremely educational!).

Thanks for enjoying the house building experience with me — I hope you’ll add your comments below. And if you have a product idea you want to launch in the future, check out Jeff’s free e-course on product launches.
