If you’re a student of internet marketing, you’re probably loving studying the Butterly Marketing launch process from Mike Filsaime and his team.

He’s done a lot of things right.

He has case studies to show proof and build anticipation. He has a blog for social proof. He has hundreds of people mailing out about it as his affiliate (collectively, us affiliates have sent him over 26,000 double opt-in leads at this point). He’s use social media (especially Twitter) decently well.

He’s giving away great free content (a $97 report, the case studies, etc.).

He’s solidified the idea of scarcity – there are 5000 units ready to be shipped (he’s even got photos of them in the warehouse), with over 40,000 people antsy to be on the site at Noon.

And he has people like Jeff Walker, Frank Kern, and me predicting that he’ll sell out within the first “early bird” hour before it even goes live to the public.

I have a few predictions for you, and then I have a fun little contest for you to win something from me.

First, I predict that all 5000 copies will sell out in 37 minutes (at 12:37 Eastern). I also predict that even people who already have Butterfly Marketing 1.0 will be getting 2.0 just so they can study the upsell process (perhaps even buy a ticket to the Vegas conference), and start getting the MarketingDotCom newsletter.

I also predict that way too many people are going to get this software that shouldn’t. This is a Ferrari – and I know some people are going to think that this software is going to magically transform a dead marketing plan into a rocketship to infinite profits.

Instead, I hope that only people who are really serious about putting this into action, and willing to fail before they succeed will pick it up. It took me 6 months to get my first site up and running – and if I had given up because I expected a quick miracle, I would never have become successful. (Now it takes me less than a week to plan, install, set up, and launch a site – sometimes I do them in a solid day).

In any case, I’m hopeful that you are going to be one of those that is willing to go the distance – and that you’ll be there at noon to get your copy.

Learn Butterfly MarketingLater on Tuesday or early Wednesday, I’ll be announcing the dates for my Butterfly Marketing Training Workshops. These are going to be intense trainings where I help you take the software and put it into action for your specific business. I’ll start with a course on converting an existing site or resell rights package into a Butterfly site. Soon after, I’ll be teaching how to promote a teleseminar event or series and the tele-factory info-products that come from them using the BFM software.

Since I’ve created over 30 sites personally, and have streamlined/systemized the process quite a bit, I know I can teach this. In fact, I’ve been waiting for the right time to teach these courses for over a year now.

The one obstacle that has been stopping me – the $1997 price tag of the software – is now out of the way.

So here’s what I’d like you to do now…

If you think it will be more than a day, then obviously use Days:Hours:Minutes.  You can also state the exact time of day, in Eastern time, that it will sell out. In the case of multiple people guessing the same time, the first person who guessed it (based on time stamp below), will be the winner. My 37 minute guess is not included in the contest.

Remember, the early bird notification list gets to sneak in an hour early at 12 p.m. Eastern (there are over 40,000 on that list right now), and the launch is at 1 p.m. Eastern. I’m basing the amount of time for the sell out after the 12 noon early bird launch.
