Bon Voyage!

I’m in Melbourne, Florida this morning, getting ready to leave for Ft. Lauderdale – so I need to keep this blog post very brief.
We’re driving the final 3 hours before getting on board the Carnival Miracle. This will be the second time for Joanna and me. We loved it so much last time, we’re also bringing Joanna’s sister and cousin from Poland.
We’ll be going to Tortola, St. Maarten and St. Kitts during this 8 day cruise.
Now there’s certainly going to be plenty of vacation time. But I’m also excited because this is the Internet Marketers’ Cruise. This is “the place to be” this week. Over 200 internet marketers and significant others are going on this trip.
Imagine going to a seminar, except instead of a hotel lobby or a stuffy conference room, you get to mastermind around a jacuzzi, or on a sandy beach overlooking turquoise water.
This is the start of my third year in this arena, and along the way I’ve made some great friends. Many of them will be on this trip, including Scott Tousignant, Paulie Sabol, and Donna Fox. Others
Now, I’m not telling you this to brag (at least not very much :), but to let you know that I’ll be away for the next 10 days. So I’ll be keeping you updated as best as I can. If you need any kind of support for my internet marketing lessons, you’ll want to use my helpdesk – which is not taking a break (and it’s what you should be using anyway).
And if you think you may want to be part of the next internet marketers cruise, be sure to head over to the IM Success Cruise info page to see what it’s all about. Also, sign up for my early notification list. As soon as I know details of the trip in 2010, I’ll be able to let you know.

p.s. Although I’ll be out at sea, you can still learn from me. Download this free toolbar I’ve created for internet marketing, and check the “Lessons” button for strategies and techniques that will help your business move forward.

Good Morning Bob,
Have an extraordinary time! Enjoy the warm weather for me. It’s c-o-l-d in New Jersey. I look forward to the blog posts (at sea or when you return).
Yes, I want to go next year!

Hi Bob
Really envy you in the lovely Caribbean, it’s freezing in the UK. After all your hard work this year teaching technology, you deserve a bit of a break.
Would love to make it on the IMSuccess Cruise in 2010 – something to aim for!
Best wishes
Irene
I know the cruise will be super – what a wonderful opportunity!
While you’re chatting with other marketers, I hope you’ll discuss the ethics of some offers being presented on the web right now, most particularly the Instant Affiliate Website offer from Mike Filsaime. The sales page is extremely deceptive, leading the reader to believe that the 30-day free trial is for the magazine and if one cancels before the 30 days, he’ll get to keep “everything else.” The “everything else” includes, according to all that is written, the Instant Affiliate Website. NOT SO. When the physical package arrives, the insert tells you that you have a 30-day free trial of the Instant Affiliate Website. Cancellation is NOT for the magazine; it’s for the Instant Affiliate Website; there is NO MENTION of the magazine (aka “The Best Damn Newsletter”) at all. It is the ultimate of DECEPTIVE “forced continuity” and I believe it is unethical.
What do you and other respected marketers think of this tactic?
You can read the text on the sales page here: http://eldorado.instantaffiliatewebsite.com/
It may be a good offer. The administration of the IAW is super-easy. If it’s so great, why be so deceptive about it? Can’t it stand on its own merits? It’s the snake-oil marketing tactics that I find so offensive.
I respect your approach to marketing, Bob. I’d really like your opinion.
Bob,
Go ahead and ‘Brag’ a little – you deserve it!
Have a wonderful time – see you at jvAlert Orlando next month

After all the hard work you’ve put in with the latest classes, you definitely deserve a much-needed break! Enjoy, and take lots of pictures! We want to see them all when you get back!
Hey Bob,
Have a wonderful vacation. Being able to afford the time and the cost of playing in a first class domaine is 50% of why we choose this profession. In case anyone is wondering what the other 50% is :-), its the people we meet! I cannot imagine it getting any better than this. Thank you for the generosity with which you overdeliver your lessons to us.
Please soak up some extra UV’s for moi.
In Love and Light,

Have a great holiday- I look forward to seeing your pictures and hearing about the ideas you come up with surrounded by so many other internet whizzes!
Are you going to do any more items about squidoo?
Enjoy–I’ve been on 14 cruises, I think 5 on Carnival ships. All cruises were free. I even wrote an ebook about how you can go on free cruises and tours. I did it for 22 years, from Alaska to Australia, most of Europe, all the major islands of the Carribean, and even Fiji.
Enjoy the other net marketers. Let us know if you learn anything new.
Bon Voyage.
