When it came to choosing a blogging platform for AskBobTheTeacher.com, I didn’t take the decision lightly. After a lot of discussion (primarily with my mastermind partner Scott Tousignant), I determined that the best one for me would be QuanSite (formerly Blogi360).
Why did I do this?
Here are the major reasons:
- I have no time to run around finding plug-ins and then installing them — Blogi360 does that for me.
- I want to harness the power of Web 2.0 without having to always stay on top of all the new programs that pop up every week — Blogi360 does that for me.
- I want to use the social bookmarking tools without having to login every day — Blogi360 does that for me.
- It works off a Wordpress platform so I’m already familiar with it. And the upgrades are done for me.
- I saw firsthand what this blog platform was doing for Scott and his business. He was getting major search engine results and setting himself up as a major authority in the difficult fitness niche.
So as you can see, it became abundantly clear.
Initially, I was concerned that Blogi360 was not free. After all, you can use WordPress with a regular hosting plan without paying extra. However, “free” blogging costs a lot in time because you have to install it, find a theme, upload files, find and install plug-ins, and update WordPress when they have a new version (which typically happens several times each year).
I’m comfortable doing techie changes like this myself – but are you? And even though you may know how to do it, isn’t your time better spent doing things that will make you money instead of waste your time?
So consider how much time you would need to spend to keep up with all the blog tactics, plug-ins, etc. I estimate the software running my blog saves me about 40 hours every month. Is your time worth more than $2.25/hour?
Mine certainly is — so it’s a no-brainer to “hire” the Blogi360 software to work as a virtual employee for me at about $2 an hour.
Plus with an excellent affiliate program, the system is now free for me anyway — and it can be for you as well.
Now another reason I should mention is that Blogi360 is the creation of business coaches and Web 2.0 experts Deb and J.P. Micek. As a partner with their system, I became part of their “tribe” which has connected me even more to the world of Web 2.0. Their communications update me to techniques that I can jump on way ahead of the curve.
So if you are looking for a Push-Button system without the technical headaches of a regular blog, then this is the right platform for you as well.
Head over to the Blogi360 site to sign up for the $1 trial and test it out for yourself.

Time is money……. put your business on autopilot !
Hi Bob,
Thanks for your review of Blogi360. I am already signed up as an affiliate as I’ve come across it before when researching my options. It was $49/mo when I first found it, but now it is $69/mo which is a bit steep (at the moment). I am interested in hearing more about your personal experience with it if you do a more in-depth review. Have to convince my better half that this is THE ONE, KWIM? My other considerations for a site were my own hosted wordpress as you mentioned or SiteSell (have you heard of it? Steve Pavlina reccommends it and I always come across these sites at the top of Google). I would like to create a site for our real estate business and a holistic-minded personal development/health site, as those are my passions. Any feedback would be much appreciated when you get a chance. Thanks!
Hey Bob. As you may already know I also use Blog i360 as the tool for choice when it comes to blogging. I have been using the system for a little of a year now and the time it saves is amazing and customer support rocks! It seems each month they are adding new features without raising the members price. You have a whole team of blogging/web 2.0 experts behind the whole automated system working for you. As they say, it’s the only blogging software the works FOR you!
Blogi360 is based entirely on wordpress. Currently blogi360 is on wordpress 2.5.1 While Wordpress itself is @ 2.5.1 as I write this comment. Honestly, I understand the marketing idea behind blogi360, but I am 100% wordpress is better for several obvious reasons.
Blogi360 is like a car manufactured by company A, running on an engine made by a superior car company B.
I have successfully used wordpress to market my sites (about 5) in a matter of days/weeks. Blogi360 is just a wordpress old version with a couple of plugins and less freedom to change things around.
So, with all due respect, they shouldn’t even be compared. There’s nothing to compare!
I tried Blogi360 and felt little else but frustration. I also spent money on their special training to the tune of $1000 and was less than impressed. In the short time I USED THE bLOGI360 SYSTEM I had about 8 different passwords and I couldn’t figure which was for what. Now in fairness to Blogi360 I had a hard time giving it the time it required as I was also running a full time business 50-60 hours a week. It it was my main full time business and I gave it more time than i did perhaps I would have had more success.
I have to agree with Janvier, there is nothing to compare. What used to take me hours to do with WordPress, posting to social sites, podcast sites, doing the upgrades, messing with FTP, whew….
Blogi360 does for me at the touch of a button.
Not to mention that I was paying TrafficGeyser $97 monthly, and now I spend a nickle to distribute each video. Takes a bunch of nickles to equal $97.
Nope, I used WordPress for years, there is nothing to compare, you couldn’t pay me to go back.
I’d rather spend my time driving traffic than fiddling with my blog.
I’ll give you every tool in my toolbox, but don’t touch my Blogi360.
Looks AWESOME – am committed to GVO but this looks great too and I love the timesaving aspects of using Blogi360 as I have been led to believe Blogger for newbies then Wordpress for more advanced Internet users were the only logical choice outside of LiveJournal, and others – i don’t have time to hunt for plugins and mess about updating Wordpress installation files etc as I’d rather focus on traffic generation.
