Okay, so there’s nothing officially on the calendar called Affiliate Appreciation Month. But I’ve been known to make up things before (I created the word zyg, for example. Definition: a non-gender specific pronoun to be used in place of he/she, (s)he, etc.).
This month marks my 3rd annniversary as an internet marketer. I consider my “anniversary” date the day I switched from trying network marketing for a few months, and I committed myself to information marketing instead. That change happened when I invested $1000 in the Butterfly Marketing home study course and software, from Mike Filsaime.
Within 15 months, I was able to quit my full time teaching job due to the success of implementing what I learned.
A major part in my growth was the role played by affiliates. The most powerful aspect of the Butterfly software and the course is the idea of getting your subscribers and customers to become instant affiliates. So as someone downloaded my first free report, or purchased my most recent course, they were able to refer others for commissions.
Now, 3 years later, I continue to rely on my affiliates for most of new members. I spend less than $50 in advertising (a test Adwords account), in fact.
So to thank you as a loyal community member and affiliate, I’ve proclaimed February Affiliate Appreciation Month. And what it means for you is this:
From February 1 – 28, 2009, when anyone you refer (or have ever referred) purchases ANY of my own online training programs or virtual workshops*, you receive 75% commission on the sale.
This includes front end offers, and back-end offers.
And yes, this includes this week’s Halftime Sale.
At the end of the month, commissions will return to their normal levels (33-50% typically).
Inside all of my sites, you’ll still see the “regular” commission schedule – which you can ignore during February. Since I’m heading to JV Alert tomorrow, I likely won’t have time to change the details inside the sites. But your commission alert email will have the correct amount for verified sales you make as an affiliate.
Getting your affiliate link is easy: simply login to any of my sites, or create a new account. You’ll see your affiliate link and promotional tools in the menu item “Referral Program” or “Affiliate Program”.
Every month, I pay my affiliates handsomely for their work in sharing my lessons with others. But during February, you’ll get even more!
Thanks again for helping my business grow. I hope this sincere thank you and extra incentive lets you know how much your help really means to me. And that ultimately, it helps you pursue what you love to do as well.
To see the different training programs and courses available as an affiliate, go to my affiliate overview page. You may also want to install my free IM Success toolbar to have easy access to all the login pages and other internet marketing resources you likely use every day (all my IM Success radio shows are pre-loaded as well).

p.s. My most lucrative affiliate program for the month of February will likely be Teleseminar Formula. I’ll be releasing details of my upcoming Teleseminar Training Camp virtual workshop next week.
* This does not include sites I am a partner-owner of, like Discover cPanel. Also, your own purchases, or those made on your behalf, are non-commissionable, as usual.
